FACULTY POSITION, PSYCHIATRIST

The Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist or Psycho-Oncology Psychiatrist at the Assistant or Associate Member level to fill a faculty position in its growing Behavioral Medicine Service, which is part of the Supportive Care Medicine Department. Responsibilities include attending on the inpatient consultation service, participating in the outpatient clinic practice, supervision of advance practice providers and participating in the clinical, educational, and research activities of the department. The ideal candidate will have experience with consultation liaison practice and/or a psycho-oncology background.

Requirements

Applicants must have a Florida medical license as an M.D. or D.O. and be board certified or eligible in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and must become board certified within five (5) years of initial appointment.

Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, Florida’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, is a rapidly growing Center affiliated with the University of South Florida and internationally recognized for our focus on personalized cancer care and translational research. The Cancer Center is comprised of a large ambulatory care facility, a 206-bed hospital, with a 36-bed blood and marrow transplant program, 20 state of the art operating suites, a 30-bed intensive care unit, a high-volume screening program, and a basic science research facility.
